On May 4th, at Kolkata’s Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, the Mohun Bagan Super Giants will square off against Mumbai City FC in the much anticipated ISL 2023-24 Final. Meanwhile, the Islanders showcased their dominance in the semifinal second leg against FC Goa, cruising to a 5-2 victory over the two legs. In the semifinal’s first leg against FC Goa, Mumbai City turned the tables in the final moments. Despite trailing 2-0 until the 89th minute, they capitalized on swift counterattacks to snatch a dramatic 3-2 victory.

For getting sent off in the first game of the ISL semi-final against Odisha FC, Armando Sadiku of Mohun Bagan will not be able to play in the ISL final. Mohun Bagan’s attack will be led by Dimitri Petratos and Jason Cummings. The team’s defence will be led by manager Subhasish Bose. Joni Kauko and Deepak Tangri will be very important for the Mariners in the middle of the pitch.

Sahal Abdul Samad could take the place of Anirudh Thapa, and Liston Colaco is likely to move to the left side. Armando Sadiku, an Albanian forward, will not play for MBSG because he was suspended for making rude gestures at a referee.
