The parents of Dangal actress Suhani Bhatnagar shared the news that their daughter was been hospitalised for the last ten days.
The Bollywood film industry is mourning the tragic loss of 19-year-old actress Suhani Bhatnagar, who had worked alongside Bollywood star Aamir Khan in the movie ‘Dangal’. Suhani played the role of Babita Phogat as a child in 2016 movie Dangal directed by Nitiesh Kumar and her grown up version was continued along with Sanya Malhotra in the movie and after that her work in industry decreased and got busy with commercial shoot works.
Suhani Bhatnagar began her career as an actress when she was only 14 years old. She began her career by showcasing her ability in commercials such as Monte Carlo. She was able to obtain a position as a co-star next to Amir Khan in the highly praised movie Dangal and also demonstrated her commendable commitment and determination in the pursuit of the role as Amir Khan’s daughter.
Amir Khan knew the young actress from the set of Dangal in 2015. The bollywood star took his Twitter(X) page to express his sorrow and pay tribute to the young actress. He described Suhani as a talented young soul, expressing deep condolences to her family and friends.
After being involved in an accident last year, Suhani was under medical care. However, there are still unanswered questions surrounding her passing. Suhani’s family disclosed that she passed away at AIIMS on Friday. The doctors provided limited details regarding her medical report.
What did Suhani’s parents say about her death?
According to News18, Puneet Bhatnagar, father of Suhani Bhatnagar, disclosed the reason behind her passing during a media interview. According to reports, Suhani has been diagnosed with dermatomyositis, leading to her admit to AIIMS for the past 10 days. Suhani’s father also disclosed that she experienced swelling in her hands two months prior to the diagnosis.
Suhani’s father said, “Even after putting her on a ventilator, her oxygen level was very low, and then yesterday evening at 7 pm, the AIIMS doctors said ‘she is not more,” he informed.” Suhani’s mother revealed that Suhani had plans to make a comeback to the industry and said, “She was performing very well in college, she even topped in the last semester. She was brilliant in everything and wanted to excel in whatever she wanted to do. Our daughter has made us very proud.”
